These chaps are crafted from an incredibly high and tough density denier nylon, ensuring that you are shielded from even the most venomous of snakes. The chaps feature four layers of protection from top to bottom, providing an added layer of security.
Despite their rugged construction, these snake chaps still offer flexibility and ease of movement, so you can hunt, hike, or work in comfort. A long zipper makes them easy to put on and take off, even while wearing boots. Plus, a nylon flap covers the zipper, preventing mud from clogging it up. The zippers are crafted from durable aluminum and come with a lifetime warranty.
Adjustable straps with quick clips allow you to attach the chaps to your belt or belt loops. Alternatively, you can use our chaps suspenders, available on our website, for added support and comfort. We have been manufacturing snake chaps for many years with excellent results, and we had them tested with an extremely high PSI. It was a .035 millimeter jet stream at 8,000 PSI. It did not penetrate the chaps!!!
When it comes to sizing, we recommend wearing chaps 2-3 inches shorter than the length of your pants to prevent them from dragging on the ground. To determine thigh thickness, measure the largest part of your thigh over a pair of jeans and add 2-3 inches to the measurement. Returns:
All Unopened or Unused Stone Creek items should be returned directly to their Store. Box up your items and place your receipt in the box with return written on it. Once they receive the items they will alert us to process the refund. If you want changes made to a refundable item or need a different size, make sure to put a note in the box as well as $12 (Cash or Check) for shipping back to you. They will ship the new size right out.
